PUBLIC NOTICE: RELEASE OF PNG PORTS PROPOSED FINAL REGULATORY CONTRACT AND FINAL REPORT (2026-2030)

The Independent Consumer and Competition Commission (‘ICCC’) would like to inform all the industry stakeholders and general public of the release of the Proposed Final PNG Ports Regulatory Contract (‘Regulatory Contract’) and the Final Report into the Review of the existing PNG Ports Regulatory Contract (2020-2024).

The Proposed Final Regulatory Contract and Final Report have been updated after incorporating submissions and comments received from stakeholders on the revised draft Report and draft Regulatory Contract and the ICCC’s assessment of the same. This Final Report sets out the ICCC’s final determinations and the new price path that will be applied to PNG Ports over the next regulatory period (2026-2030).

Following the issuance of the proposed Final Regulatory Contract, the ICCC will formally release the Final Regulatory Contract to the industry after a month’s notice as required under the ICCC Act.
