PUBLIC NOTICE: PNG AVIATION INDUSTRY INQUIRY – REGIONAL STAKEHOLDER CONSULTATION WORKSHOP
The Independent Consumer and Competition Commission (ICCC) wishes to inform the public, industry stakeholders, and interested parties that it is undertaking a comprehensive inquiry into the Papua New Guinea (PNG) Aviation Industry. This inquiry is being conducted under the ICCC’s statutory mandate to promote competition, improve market efficiency, and safe guard consumer welfare.
As part of this inquiry, the ICCC seeks to engage constructively with industry participants and stakeholders to:
- gather views, written submissions, comments and relevant information on the aviation industry;
- discuss competition, consumer protection, pricing structures, service quality, and regulatory or operational constraints within the aviation industry; and
- enhance transparency and accountability throughout the inquiry process.
